Care & Fit
Elei printing is a traditional Samoan block-printing technique, where hand-carved stamps are used to press repeating motifs onto cotton. Each Eveni Pacific piece is printed this way, so small variations in the pattern are part of the craft, not a flaw.
Our camp shirts and dresses are cut relaxed through the body for warm-weather comfort. If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down for a more tailored look, or staying true to size for the traditional loose fit.
Hand-block printed cotton is best washed cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle to protect the print. Skip the tumble dryer and hang to dry in the shade — direct sun and high heat can fade the natural dyes over time.
Absolutely. Many of our block-printed camp shirts and dresses are dressy enough for a formal Pacific occasion — pair a camp shirt with tailored trousers, or a printed dress on its own, for an elevated island look.
