What to Wear to the Rugby League World Cup 2026: Dress for Samoa
Samoa's World Cup starts on a Friday night in Parramatta. Toa Samoa play France at 5:45pm Sydney time, and Fetu Samoa meet the Jillaroos at 8:05pm, same ground, same night. Plenty of us will be watching from somewhere else, so it's worth working out now what you're wearing.
The games
The men's side opens against France. They then fly to Port Moresby to face Papua New Guinea on 24 October, and finish the group stage against Tonga at CommBank Stadium on 1 November. That last one is the game people are already talking about.
The women also have Wales on Friday 23 October at 5:45pm, after the Australia opener.
If you only make one night, make it the 16th. You get both teams in one evening.
What to wear
Eveni started in Samoa in 1929, when Irving "Eveni" Carruthers set up shop in Vailima. Almost a century on, it's still dressing Samoan families for the occasions that matter, and a home World Cup night counts.
The range covers men, ladies, boys and girls, so a whole family can sort their outfits in one go. An ie faitaga is the obvious pick for a Samoa game.
Getting it there on time
Work backwards from kickoff.
Within Auckland, NZ Post takes one to two business days once your order ships. Elsewhere in NZ it's three to four. Australian orders go by air courier and usually take seven to ten business days, so if you're in Sydney or Brisbane, order this week rather than next.
Prefer to try things on? The store is at Auckland Airport Shopping Centre. It's open 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday, and closed Sundays and public holidays.
Official Partner
Eveni is an official partner of Toa Samoa and Fetū Samoa, and we're proud to be in their corner ahead of the World Cup. Dressing Samoan families has been our work since 1929, so backing the teams that carry the country's name is a natural fit. If you want to wear the colours on match night, the 2026 Toa Samoa replica home jersey in royal is on the Eveni Pacific site now, and it goes well with an ie faitaga for the after-party.
